Former Mizzou basketball star hosts seventh annual Camp Bowers

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou basketball star Laurence Bowers is hosting his seventh annual Camp Bowers this week at the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse.

Bowers said the camp set a new record with 315 kids participating this year.

"The fact that the camp is continuously growing - I think that's a testament to my staff and my wife and her staff behind the scenes and the amount of effort that I put into it," Bowers said. "I'm very blessed, very fortunate to be thought so highly of, and it's very fulfilling."
