Mizzou football adds two transfers in two days

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team has landed two transfer commitments in the last two days.

Akayleb Evans announced his commitment Friday night on social media.

Evans comes to Columbia from Tulsa. The 6-foot-2 safety will have two years of eligibility remaining. The McKinney, Tex. native started 23 games in four seasons at Tulsa.

On Thursday night, Connor Wood announces his commitment on social media.

The former Montana State offensive lineman started 20 games during his two seasons with the Bobcats. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.

Both Wood and Evans will be available to play for the Tigers immediately.
