Mizzou is one of 48 teams in this year's tournament - which is being held in Omaha, Neb. There are normally 64 teams, but that number dropped this year due to COVID-19 protocols.

Mizzou has won its last six opening round NCAA Tournament games. The Tigers are 16-16 all-time in the NCAA Tournament.

MU has never lost to South Dakota in program history. The Tigers are 2-0 without dropping a single set to the Coyotes.
