No. 24 Mizzou drops rematch with Ole Miss

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team did not find redemption against Ole Miss on Wednesday night, in a 60-53 loss at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers shot just 35 percent from the field in the first half, with the Rebels leading 33-24 at the break.

However, after the half, Mizzou managed to put together an 11-0 run to tie the game at 39 points apiece.

Cuonzo Martin's group stayed within four points for the majority of the game, but in the end, Ole Miss pulled away.

Kobe Brown led the team with 12 points, while Jeremiah Tilmon recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Up next - the Tigers are scheduled to host Texas A&M, however, the Aggies have been dealing with COVID-19 issues. There is no final word on if the game will be played or not.
