Mizzou softball adjusts to winter weather

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou softball team will head down to Florida on Friday to compete in FAU's "Strike-out Cancer," Tournament.

Larissa Anderson's team was originally supposed to travel to Waco, Texas to meet Prairie View A&M, No. 23 Baylor, and Northwestern State. However, official canceled the tournament due to winter weather.

Instead, the Tigers will now be meeting Ole Miss, Iowa State, and FAU on Feb. 20 and 21.

The team will cap off their time in the sunshine state with a meeting with UCF on Feb. 24.

Mizzou comes into the matchup sitting at 3-1, with a win over No. 12 Florida State.
