Tilmon to miss second straight game after death in his family

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou senior Jeremiah Tilmon will miss his second straight game Tuesday night at Georgia following a death in his family.

Tilmon also missed MU's game on Saturday against Arkansas. The Tigers lost to the Razorbacks 86-81 in overtime.

"We knew there was a death in his family, so you have to respect that," Head coach Cuonzo Martin said after Saturday's game. "We understand."

Coach Martin also said he was not sure when Tilmon will come back from his leave of absence.

The Tigers recently dropped 10 spots to No. 20 in the latest AP poll after losses to Ole Miss and Arkansas last week. MU is 13-5 overall and 6-5 in the SEC.

Mizzou's game against Georgia on Tuesday night will tipoff at 6 p.m.
