Tigers snap losing streak with win over Auburn

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team outshot the Auburn Tigers by eight percent on Sunday, which led to an 85-75 win on the road.

It was an all-around effort for Robin Pingeton's group, as five players hit double-digit point totals.

Ladazhia Williams led the team with 19 points, along with six rebounds and one block.

Aijha Blackwell brought in her sixth-straight double-double, with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Mizzou did have to fight for it, as the offense stalled out with about five minutes left in the first half, leading to a 45-42 advantage at the break.

However, after the intermission, the Tigers came out with a 20-4 run, which brought them to a 19-point lead, their biggest of the game. It all ended in a 10-point win for Pingeton's group.
