Mizzou falls in rematch with No. 16 Arkansas

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

It was familiar tale for the Mizzou women's basketball team on Thursday night, as it fell, last-minute, to the No. 16 Arkansas.

Robin Pingeton group hung with the Razorbacks through the majority of the first half, however, got down by as much as 12 points in the second half.

A last minute revival brought Mizzou within striking distance, just points behind the Razorbacks, however, Arkansas pulled through in an 85-80 victory.

You can watch full press conferences with Pingeton and Arkansas head coach Mike Neighbors in the video players below.

Auburn-transfer Lauren Hansen had her best game in a Tiger uniform, finishing with a team-high 19 points, along with four rebounds and three assists.

Up next - Mizzou will face Hansen's former squad, as the team will travel to Auburn, Alabama on Feb. 7.
