Mizzou hoops lands back in the win column

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.

The Mizzou basketball team redeemed itself in SEC play on Saturday afternoon, with a 81-68 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Jeremiah Tilmon led the charge in his eighth career double-double, with 25 points and 11 rebounds. The senior also surpassed his career-high points, which he set two years ago in a game against Xavier.

Mizzou improved to 7-1 with the win in Fayetteville, after dropping its first game of the conference schedule against the No. 7 Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday night.

MU's last two games were marked by shooting trouble, only hitting an average of 30 percent from the field. However, in the win over Arkansas, the Tigers shot 47 percent from the field.
