Mizzou women postpone Sunday matchup due to COVID-19

ST. LOUIS, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team will not make the trip to St. Louis to meet the SLU Billikens due to COVID-19 related issues.

In a tweet, the Billikens said the postponement is due to COVID concerns within Mizzou's program.

MU Athletics said it is all due to a combination of a positive test, contact tracing, and mandatory quarantining.

Robin Pingeton's squad opened up their season on Friday night against North Alabama. No players were out due to COVID-19 in that matchup.
