Jefferson City Jays move on to state quarterfinals

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City Jays soccer team moved forward in the state tournament with a 4-1 sectionals win over Blue Springs.

Jays senior Bassil Ahmed finished the night with two goals.

The team will move on to the quarterfinals where they will face the winner of the Ozark and Nixa sectionals matchup.
