Mizzou WBB goes cold in second half, loses to LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team lost 66-58 to LSU on Monday night. The Tigers are now 6-18 overall and 3-8 in the SEC.

LSU outscored MU 32-20 in the second half. Mizzou scored just six points in the third quarter. MU shot 2-13 from three-point range in the final two quarters.

Freshman Aijha Blackwell finished with a team-high 12 points and 14 rebounds. She also had a team-high nine turnovers.

Hayley Frank and Amber Smith each had 11 points.

Up next - MU will host Florida on Sunday at 2 p.m.
