Blackwell scores career-high in Mizzou’s win over Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. - The Mizzou women's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a, 73-65, win over the Georgia Bulldogs.

The victory improves Mizzou's record to 6-17 (3-7 SEC).

Freshman Aijha Blackwell scored a career-high 26 points and added 11 rebounds. Blackwell led the team and shot 7-12 from the field.

As a team, Mizzou shot 47.8 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from three. Jordan Chavis also scored 16 points.

The Tigers next face LSU on the road on Monday at 6 p.m.
