Mizzou WBB can’t keep up with No. 1 South Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team was no match for No. 1 South Carolina. The Gamecocks beat the Tigers 78-45 on Thursday night.

USC out-rebounded MU 62-31. The Tigers were 15-55 (27 percent) from the field.

Aijha Blackwell led the Tigers with 13 points and six rebounds. She was the only MU player in double-figures. Meanwhile, five different South Carolina players had ten or more points.

MU moves to 4-14 overall and 1-4 in the SEC. Up next - Mizzou will play at Ole Miss on Sunday at 2 p.m.
