Blackwell wins SEC freshman of the week

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball player Aijha Blackwell is the SEC freshman of the week. This is Blackwell's first SEC weekly honor.

The St. Louis native averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the Tigers' two games.

Mizzou, 3-7, will be back in action on Sunday on the road against Missouri State at 3 p.m.
