QUESTION OF THE DAY: Were you surprised by the results Tuesday night?

Election Day is over.

The results didn't come in quickly but as they did, it became clear that Republicans made some big gains. They gained control of the Senate and by early Wednesday it appeared that Donald Trump was set to win the presidential race.

In Missouri, Republicans dominated statewide races but voters also approved Amendment 3, which will repeal the state's abortion ban.
