President Joe Biden wins Missouri Democratic Primary

The Missouri Democratic Party announced President Joe Biden has officially won the party-run presidential preference primary that was held on Saturday.

According to a news release, 19,100 total votes were cast with Biden winning 85.3% of the vote, 61 of 64 pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention.

There were five other candidates on the ballot along with an uncommitted option. Data from the party shows there were 2,229 uncommitted votes, 11.7% of voters.

On March 2, the Missouri Republican Party announced Donald Trump as the winner of the Republican Caucus. An exact number of voters was not released as ballots are not cast but local caucuses reported seeing low turnout.
