QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should the state budget prohibit spending on diversity, equity, inclusion?

A Missouri Senate committee has stripped language from the state budget that would prohibit spending on diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

The committee removed the language, inserted in the House, because of concerns from businesses -- including those with state contracts -- and public institutions who said it would be a disaster.
