QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you support dismantling the Department of Education?

President Donald Trump fulfilled a promise Thursday when he signed an executive order to dismantle the Department of Education.

The administration plans to keep a remnant of the department as it's currently constructed to oversee federal student aid.

The plan has drawn strong opposition from educators and members of the public. Doing away with the Education Department has long been a priority for some conservatives, though, and Trump pointed to statistics showing what he says is the department's inefficacy.
