A small group of Republicans has joined Democrats in helping to push through a Senate gun bill to a final vote.
Missouri's Roy Blunt was one of 15 Republicans joining Democrats to end the Senate filibuster of the bill Thursday. Many Republicans and gun groups are against the bill, claiming it will erode the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
Meanwhile, some Democrats say the bill doesn't go far enough.
