WATCH: President Biden speaks to reporters before departing for Kansas City

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

President Joe Biden spoke to reporters Wednesday morning in Washington, D.C., before flying to Kansas City for an afternoon speech.

Biden will tout his administration's $1 trillion infrastructure plan during the appearance. The president will land at Kansas City International Airport around 1 p.m. before heading to the Kansas City Transportation Authority to give remarks at 2:30 p.m.

ABC 17 News will televise Biden's speech and stream it online.
