Company eyes mid-Missouri for biogas plants

Multiple counties across mid-Missouri including Audrain County have agreed to partner with an international company specializing in renewable energy. The partnership with GESS International includes the construction of four biogas plants across mid-Missouri, according to the company. The plants equate to a $145 million investment in Missouri and are expected to create around 80 jobs.
