Small cell wireless facilities installation to cause lane restrictions and sidewalk closures in Columbia

MGN Online

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Beginning Wednesday an AT&T contractor will be installing small cell wireless facilities at four separate locations.

Lane restrictions and sidewalk closures will take place each day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to complete the work by Dec. 23, weather permitting.

The locations impacted are listed below:

  • Westbound lane of West Green Meadows between Forum Boulevard and Club Meadows Drive, and the sidewalk on the north side of the street.
  • Northbound lane of Burrwood Drive between Rollingwood Drive and La Rail Drive and the sidewalk on the east side of the street.
  • Southbound lane of Lemone Industrial Boulevard between Maguire Boulevard and New Haven Road.
  • Closure of the west southbound lane of Forum Boulevard between Woodrail Avenue and Doral Drive and the sidewalk on the west side of the street.

Two-way traffic is to remain in place at all times with minimum 10' lane widths. Motorists, and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should follow the traffic control dev to the other side of the street.
