MoDOT to start bridge repair on Interstate 70 near Rocheport Wednesday night

COOPER/BOONE COUNTY (KMIZ)

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will begin repairing a bridge joint on Interstate 70 over the Missouri River near Rocheport.

MoDOT crews will work Wednesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the eastbound lanes. One eastbound lane will be closed in the work area.

Drivers will be made aware of the repair with message boards in advance of the closure. Drivers are asked to slow down through all work zones and obey all traffic signs.

The work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
