MoDOT to close I-70 lanes overnight near Columbia beginning Monday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MoDOT crews will begin pavement repairs on Interstate 70 in Columbia beginning Monday.

Officials say crews will close one eastbound lane of I-70 overnight between Stadium Boulevard and Rangeline Street Monday through Wednesday. On the evening of Thursday one westbound lane will be closed between Rangeline Street and the Garth Avenue overpass.

All lane closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Message boards will be in place to warn motorists in advance of the closure. Drivers are advised to slow down through all work zones and obey all traffic signs.
