MoDOT: Crews will make bridge improvements on Route 54 in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY – MoDOT will have crews making improvements on two bridge maintenance projects requiring lane closures in two areas of Jefferson City.

Starting on Sunday, crews will begin making improvements to the driving surface of the westbound U.S. Route 54 bridge over U.S. Route 50 and the Ellis Boulevard bridge over Route 54.

Crews will be on-site from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. with one lane closed at a time.

MoDOT says work at both locations is scheduled to be completed by Friday.
