MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Rocky Mount woman died Friday in a crash on Route W in Morgan County, south of Indian Creek, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Vicky Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:03 a.m. by the Morgan County coroner. She was 56.

According to the report, the Williams lost control of her 1995 Jeep Wrangler because of slick road conditions. Snow went through much of Mid-Missouri early Friday. The vehicle was heading north on Route W when it went off the right side of the road and overturned, the report states.

The report states that Williams was partially ejected from the Jeep, the vehicle then landed on top of her and stopped on its top.

Williams was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. The Jeep had extensive damage.
