87-year-old man seriously injured in Pulaski County crash

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 87-year-old man suffered serious injuries from a crash that occurred on Saturday night in the westbound lanes of Interstate 44 in Pulaski County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as a 2006 Dodge Ram – driven by Henry Burbank, of St. Robert – went off the left side of the road, hit a guard rail and overturned in the eastbound lanes, according to the report.  Burbank was brought to Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla by ambulance, the report states. He was wearing a seatbelt.

Samantha Smith, 28, of Waynesville, was a passenger and had minor injuries in the crash, the report states. She declined medical treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

The report states the Dodge was totaled.
