Two women seriously injured in Pulaski County crash

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two women suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Friday on Interstate 44 at mile marker 158 in Pulaski County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred as a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo –driven by Crystal McDonald, 38, of Union – was heading westbound when it went off the left side of the road, hit a rock bluff and overturned, according to the report.

McDonald and her passenger – Julie Rickey, 54, of Union – were seriously injured and were brought to Phelps Health Region Medical Center in Rolla, according to the release. Both women were wearing seatbelts.

The Chevrolet was totaled.
