83-year-old woman dies in Moniteau County crash

CALIFORNIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 83-year-old woman died after she was injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday in Moniteau County.

Ida Wolf, of California, Missouri, died, according to a Friday night email from a Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesman.

The crash occurred on Lookout Trail near Circle Drive, according to an MSHP crash report. A 2015 Honda Crosstour – driven by Wolf – was heading eastbound when it went off the right side of the road.

The vehicle then hit an embankment, became airborne and hit a tree, according to the report.

Wolf was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital by ambulance. She was wearing a seatbelt, the report states.

The Honda was totaled.
