Hallsville man hurt after crash on Highway 63 Monday night

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Hallsville man was hurt after a Monday night crash in Boone County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. in the northbound lane of Highway 63 just north of Hinton Road.

The crash report states that John Reinkemeyer, 60, was seriously hurt after he lost control of his 1995 Ford Ranger. The truck went through the median and overturned in the southbound lane.

Reinkemeyer was not wearing a seat belt according, according to the report.

He was brought to University Hospital by ambulance.

Boone County Joint Communications said on social media that all lanes of Highway 63 at Hinton Road were shut down for about 40 minutes.
