Independence man suffers serious injury after getting pinned between two vehicles

MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An Independence man suffered serious injuries Monday after getting pinned between a roller and a semi-truck on Route E in Moniteau County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Troy Bellamy, 51, was injured while trying to hook up equipment between the two vehicles when a Hamm Double-Drum Ride-On Roller – driven by Alfred Mullins, 34, of Tipton – backed up and pinned Bellamy.

Bellamy was flown to University Hospital, the report states.
