Two injured, power line on ground after Boone County crash

CENTRALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in a one-vehicle crash in the 1550 block of Cherokee Ridge Road in Centralia, according to Boone County Assistant Fire Chief Gale Blomenkamp.

Blomenkamp told ABC 17 News in a text message that the vehicle “Sheered off a power pole power line on the ground.”

The crash caused an outage for one Boone Electric Cooperative customer, according to online records. That outage was reported at 8:22 p.m.
