The Missouri State Highway Patrol said in a crash report that two people -- a Hannibal, Missouri, man and a Columbia woman -- suffered minor injuries. The crash happened when a Toyota Venza hydroplaned and hit a guardrail, according to the patrol. A tractor-trailer then hit the car, initiating a chain reaction.
The Central District of the Missouri Department of Transportation posted to Twitter that the crash happened at the Missouri River Bridge in Rocheport.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F also tweeted about the crash saying two passenger cars and a semi-tractor trailer were involved in the wreck. The tweet said injuries were reported in the crash but it did not specify who was injured.
