New Florence man hurt in Monday motorcycle crash

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a New Florence man was hurt in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 70 East.

The crash report said 54-year-old Lonne E. Hollaway was driving east on the highway Monday morning just outside of New Florence.

Troopers say Hollaway's motorcycle overturned and went off the right side of I-70. He was also thrown from the vehicle.

Montgomery County EMS took Hollaway to a Columbia hospital after the single-vehicle wreck. University of Missouri officials say he was in fair condition on Tuesday.

No other people were hurt in the crash. Troopers said Hollaway was not wearing a helmet.
