1 killed, 4 hurt in Gasconade County crash

GASCONADE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man was killed and four others were hurt in a Sunday night crash south of Hermann.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 32-year-old Wyatt T. Puckett was driving an SUV east on Kattleman Road around 8 p.m.

Troopers said the vehicle was making a right turn when it skidded off the road and hit a tree.

Puckett was pronounced dead at the scene of the wrekc, troopers said.

Of the four passengers in the SUV, three were children, according to the report. Another man, 28-year-old Luis G. Ramirez, was seriously injured in the crash and taken to a hospital in Washington, Mo.

Each of the children had moderate injuries and taken to hospitals, reports said.

The report said no one in the car was wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened. Gasconade County sheriff's deputy assisted crews with the wreck.
