COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri state troopers say a Callaway County man was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday afternoon.

The highway patrol said Christopher E. Anderson, 71, was life-flighted to University of Missouri Hospital after the wreck near the Highway 50 and Lookout Trail intersection.

The crash report said Anderson was driving a 2000 Harley Davidson westbound on Lookout Trail around 2:15 p.m.

Troopers said Ridha Zikri, 36, of Columbia, failed to yield as Anderson was trying to turn left. Anderson's motorcycle hit Zikri's truck, according to the report.

No other people were hurt in the crash, troopers said. Anderson was not wearing a helmet when the crash happened.

A spokesman for MU said Anderson was in good condition Wednesday morning.
