Sedalia man dies in Sunday crash

SYRACUSE, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Sedalia man died after a crash in Morgan County Sunday afternoon.

A highway patrol crash report said 44-year-old Dustin J. Dillon died after crashing into a stop sign and a concrete retaining wall near the intersection of Highway 5 and Railroad Lane around 4:30 p.m.

Troopers said Dillon's car traveled off the road and caught on fire after the wreck.

The Morgan County Coroner confirmed Dillon's death at 4:50 p.m., the crash report said.

The highway patrol said no other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.

Two others were killed in a crash in Miller County Saturday night.
