Two killed in Miller County car crash

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people are dead after a fatal crash in Miller County.

The crash happened shortly before 10:30 Saturday night.

According to Missouri State Highway crash reports, John Surface, 28, was heading westbound on Highway 42. That's when he crossed into the eastbound lane and hit Elizabeth Goewey, 44, head-on.

Troop F sent out an alert about the crash shortly after 1 a.m. and said troopers were still investigating.

According to the post, drivers of two cars were both killed in the crash. There were no other passengers in either car.
