Fayette man dies after motorcycle crash on Monday

FAYETTE, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Fayette man died after being involved in a motorcycle crash on Monday.

The highway patrol crash report said 57-year-old Larry Koenig died early in the morning on Thursday, April 2.

Troopers said Koenig skidded and drove off the road while traveling on Highway 5 just south of Route 423 in Howard County.

The crash report said Koenig was the only person involved in the wreck.

MSHP Troop F, which covers most of Mid-Missouri, said it's the twelfth fatal crash troopers have responded to this year.
