Road closures announced in Columbia, Boone County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A pair of road closures were announced for Columbia and Boone County on Friday.

In a press release from the City of Columbia, Garth Avenue between Oak and Ash streets will be closed Monday through Friday for a sewer line improvement project. The sewer utility plans to straighten the sanitary sewer pipes in order to complete a rehabilitation project, the release states.

A press release from the Boone County Road and Bridge Department also states there will be a closure on Tuesday, April 27 in the 8000 block of Wagon Trail Road for a culvert replacement. The road will be closed at 9 a.m. and is respected to reopen later that day.
