Camdenton woman serious hurt in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 70-year-old Camdenton woman was seriously hurt in a Camden County crash Thursday evening.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the woman was stopped waiting to turn left at the intersection of U.S. 54 and Cedar Heights Dr. at 6:38 p.m Thursday. The woman's 2015 Toyota Rav4 was hit from behind by a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 21-year-old Camdenton man.

The woman was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by Mercy ambulance with serious injuries. The man was not hurt, according to the report

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Both vehicles were totaled.
