Helicopter called to Callaway County crash scene

AUXVASSE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A medical helicopter was called Monday afternoon to the scene of a crash in Auxvasse, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash at Highway 54 and County Road 1048 was called in a little after noon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote in a social media post that several people were injured and a helicopter was on its way to the scene.

Troopers are asking drivers to avoid the area.
