QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you have to drive to work on Monday?
A winter storm continued to spit snow and ice onto parts of Mid-Missouri on Sunday night.
Accumulation varied across the region, with parts north generally receiving more snow, with more ice south. However, much of Mid-Missouri saw a mix of the two, creating a layered and frozen mess on the ground and on roads.
The storm was enough for scores of schools and community organizations to shut their doors on Monday. The University of Missouri and other higher education institutions told workers and any students attending classes during the holiday break to stay home.
