No-excuse absentee voting begins in Missouri Tuesday
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No-excuse absentee voting begins Tuesday for those who want to mail in ballots or vote in person.
No-excuse absentee voting is when any registered voter can cast their ballot in person, just like on election day.
For Boone County residents there are several dates and locations where in person voting will take place. The Boone County Government Center will be open for voting everyday (except Sunday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until November 4.
- October 26, 11am-8pm: Columbia Mall
- October 27, 11am-6pm: Douglass High School
- October 28-October 31, 10am-6pm: Memorial Union, Second Floor
- November 1, 10am-1pm: Memorial Union, Second Floor
- November 2, 10am-5pm: Southern Boone Middle School Cafeteria in Ashland & Impact Support Services in Centralia (formerly the East Annex Building on Switzler)
For people in Cole County, there are several locations available depending on the ward and precinct you live in. You can find that list on the Cole County Clerks website.
Same thing goes for all counties, be sure to visit your county clerk's website.
To vote in person, you must be registered and must bring a photo I.D. That can include a non expired Missouri license, U.S. passport or a non expired Military I.D.
If you do not have an I.D., you can still vote by casting a blue provisional ballot.
