Firefighters respond to fire just north of Business Loop 70 Sunday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Firefighters respond to a fire just north of Business Loop 70 Sunday night.

According to Columbia Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at 8:17 Sunday evening on Nebraska Avenue. The first crew arrived in 5 minutes to find heavy smoke.

A total of 11 units responded to this incident, no injuries were reported.

The fire was under control just before 9 p.m., but crews remained on scene to check for any hot spots.
