The University of Missouri Tigers are set to play against the University at Buffalo, Buffalo Bulls for their first Saturday night football game of the season. With this being the second-sold-out game this season, traffic impacts and delays are expected ahead and after kickoff.

Heavy traffic is expected around Memorial Stadium, specifically at the Providence Rd. and Stadium Blvd. intersection. Mick Deaver Dr. will also be closed from Champions Dr. and Stadium Blvd.

Go COMO will offer free shuttle services between downtown Columbia and hotels to the Tiger Ave. and Hosptial Dr. roundabout. The shuttle will start running at 3:30 p.m. and will run on a 10-minute cycle, according to the Go COMO website.

For traffic going to the stadium, Research Park Dr. will be closed from Lot T to Lot Y.

When leaving the stadium, Research Park Dr., a small Southbound portion of the intersection of Mick Deaver Dr. and Champions Dr. will still be closed.

According to the University of Missouri's website, public parking and permit and tailgate lots open at 8 a.m. The Conley Avenue parking garage is currently closed due to maintenance. The university also mentions that any fans traveling to the game on I-70 should expect delays due to current construction on the road.

Outbound traffic will be right turn only, according to the university's website.

There will be free parking in garages downtown with general parking costing $40.

Drivers should also be alert and aware of students and other fans walking to and from the game.
