RECALL ROUNDUP: Hyundai Genesis vehicles and 3M noise-reducing earmuffs recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

3M noise-reducing earmuffs

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 40,000 noise-reducing earmuffs made by 3M.

Federal regulators recalled 3M Peltor X4 series earmuffs because the products' colored plastic cap can develop a crack posing the risk of a user having overexposure to loud noise and sound.

The recalled earmuffs were sold in green, black and orange accents at industrial distributors nationwide and on Amazon from May to June 2023.

Owners should stop using the earmuffs immediately and contact 3M for a free replacement.

Hyundai Genesis vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recalled over 31,000 Hyundai Genesis vehicles.

Federal regulators say the vehicles' fuel pumps can shut down, which stops the flow of fuel to the engine. The issue can cause a driver to lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.

The affected vehicles are 2022 and 2023 Hyundai Genesis GV70 and GV80 models along with G80 and G90 models.

According to CPSC, owners can take their recalled vehicle to a Hyundai dealer to be fixed for free.
