BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 near mile marker 115 in Boone County is closed Friday morning due to a crash.

Boone County Assistant Fire Chief Gale Blomenkamp says the crash involves a tractor-trailer off the right side of the road.

Missouri State Highway Patrol posted about Troopers investigating a two-vehicle crash with injury on social media.

Blomenkamp told ABC 17 News there was one patient.

MSHP said the right lane is expected to be closed for "an extended period of time."

The Missouri Department of Transportation traffic map shows traffic backed up over the Rocheport Bridge and near the Wooldridge exit on I-70. Traffic is moving but at a slower pace than normal.
