Richland teen killed in single-vehicle crash Thursday evening

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Richland teenager was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Pulaski County early Thursday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 6 p.m. on Rawlins Road one mile west of Highway T when a 16-year-old boy drove too fast on a curve in a 1994 Chevrolet 2500.

Troopers say the truck then went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

According to the crash report, the teen was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

This is Troop I's first fatality for the month of March and 7th of 2024.
